It’s All a Mystery by Tracy Strange

$680.00

Tracy Strange divides her time between two studios, one at Mosquito Point on Victoria’s Gippsland Lakes, and one in Richmond. Wherever she is, she is quietly immersed
in the landscape she paints.

Growing up in the Western District of Victoria, Tracy absorbed the cold misty mornings and wide open skies that still linger in her work today.

She is self-taught and instinctive, working quickly and without sketching, building up surfaces through washing, rubbing, dragging and re-working until something true emerges.

Her paintings are dreamy and temporal, filled with careful observation and long memory. She works mainly in oils on board and canvas, chasing the quality of light that comes from years of living close to the land and the water.
